Dignitas vs. Giants Preview & Prediction - Free CS:GO Betting Picks 8/8

Dignitas and Giants will face each other in the upper bracket of the FunSpark ULTI 2020 – Europe. The FunSpark ULTI 2020 – Europe has sixteen teams competing for a $15,000 prize pool. The top two teams from the European qualifiers will receive a slot at the FunSpak ULTI tournament. The first-placed team also receives the entire prize pool amount of $15,000.

Dignitas Preview

Dignitas comprises the majority of the former NiP lineup. The team has some of the biggest names in Counter-Strike, but most of the players are in poor form right now. Team Dignitas’ performance has been relatively mediocre with losses to teams like Vitality, FATE and Fnatic. However, in its last two matches, Dignitas secured victories over Izako Boars and Singularity.

A big part of Team Dignitas’ performance relies on the performance of the veteran players on the squad. Get_RiGhT and F0rest are two of the most impactful players on the squad. While they might not always top the scoreboard, their frags are often impact frags as they can change the outcome of the round and subsequently the match. F0rest has a 1.06 rating and continues to dominate in the early part of the game. His pistol round kills often set the tone for the rest of the match.

However, NiP relies on Hallzerk to have a strong individual performance. The youngster has a bright future and the rest of the squad has been supporting the player to put up aggressive and dominant performances.

Giants Preview

Giants has a Portuguese CS:GO roster and is ranked 123rd in the world. The team is led by Fox, a veteran Portuguese player who has played at the top-level scene for a long time.

They do not lack experience; however, the players have not always been able to put forth strong results. The team’s relatively poor map pool is a big reason for Giants' lack of results. The players are comfortable to play on Inferno, Dust2 and Nuke. On most of the other maps; however, Giants has little to no experience on most of the other maps.

Pick: Dignitas to win the race to five rounds (-208 @ Pinnacle)

I am taking Dignitas to win the race to five rounds. F0rest has been one of the best pistol round players and NiP’s aggression will be a determining factor in the early part of the game.
