Apeks and Team LDLC face off against each other in their opening matches for the Winners League Season 4 Europe. The Winners League Season 4 Europe is a sixteen team online CS:GO tournament. It has a prize pool of $15,000 with the grand finals taking place on July 6. The teams play out a round-robin group stage format where all matches are best-of-one matches. The playoffs have a single-elimination best-of-three format.
Apeks Preview
Apeks is the favorite in this match as they are higher-ranked and have produced significantly better results recently. The team’s performance has seen them match up against Japaleno, Movistar Riders amongst others. The team has not always been successful.
However, Apeks players have been able to stand up against opponents significantly better than themselves. The team comprises a Norwegian roster, many of their players are unknown names in Counter-Strike. However, as is the case with the region, there is a lot of talent still to be discovered and Apeks is one of the fastest rising teams in the region.
Team LDLC Preview
Team LDLC has some veteran names for the French Counter-Strike scene. However, their players are not in the best of form. They have added several youngsters to their roster and are yet to produce good results. They have been shaky at best lately.
