GODSENT vs. North Preview & Prediction - Free 6/12 CS:GO Betting Picks

GODSENT and North are set to square away in an upper bracket round two matchup of the ESL Pro League Season 12: European Qualifier. GODSENT held a first round bye while North defeated HellRaisers 2-1 in a first round marathon. These teams met twice since April 29th, and GODSENT won both of those contests by a 2-1 score.

GODSENT, despite ranking 22nd in the world, have been vastly disappointing for the most part lately. They have a poor 41.7% win rate over the last three months although they've been taking on some tough competition. Map selection is key for GODSENT as they have only three maps (Train, Nuke and Overpass) that they have win rates over 50% on. Vertigo and Inferno have been horrible for them with a win rate of 28.6% on Vertigo and 15.4% on Inferno.

The 26th ranked Danish squad of North isn't nearly as good as they were at their peak ranking of 3rd, but they are still a tough team. Their 45.2% win rate over the last three months is super disappointing for their standards. Like their opponent, map selection is key for their success. They hold a 71.4% win rate on Overpass and a 62.5% win rate on Dust2, but they have no other maps in their arsenal with a win rate higher than 47.4% which is an area of concern for the team.

Pick: North ML

Oddsmakers haven't set a line yet, but I fully intend to back North as soon as one is set. Neither of these teams have been performing up to their normal standards, but North has the better roster of these two in my opinion. I expect North to carry over momentum from their win over HellRaisers with a win here also.
