Although they are not playing well lately, NiP is labeled as a favorite in this Best of 3 Group D opening match of the DreamHack Open Fall 2020. Sprout definitely has an opportunity to make a little upset as they are in a better form at the moment, and it seems that the winner of this clash will have big chances to make it to the playoffs.

NiP is in jeopardy to fall off of the top 20 if they continue with poor form they have been producing lately. They suffered four straight defeats at the ESL Pro League Season 12 Europe to Spirit, Astralis, FaZe, and fnatic, and failed to win a single map in the last three losses, which is very disappointing. The Swedes will be eager to bounce back at this tournament, but even though the odds suggest differently, it’s not going to be easy. NiP lost eight of the previous 12 matches.
During the past three months, NiP has been above average on Mirage (66.7% win rate) and Train (66.7%), while they didn’t taste a victory on Vertigo (played once) and Dust2 (played three times). Sprout is in a completely different form from NiP recently as they won the PLayForBelarus tournament after defeating Nemiga in the Grand final. They have been in an excellent form at the ESEA MDL Season 35 Europe, where they are currently in the first place with a 10-2 record, while they qualified for this tournament thanks to wins over FATE, Heretics, sAw, and North, not dropping a single map in the process. Sprout won 18 of the last 20 games.
When it comes to the maps in the previous three months, Sprout didn’t lose on ten appearances on Nuke, while they performed very well on Vertigo (75.0%), Inferno (72.7%), and Train (72.75). Mirage (46.7%) proved out to be Sprout’s least favorite map so far. Sprout is playing with the current lineup since August and appeared on 73 maps with a record of 51 wins and 22 losses. The team members are Spiidi (1.04), denis (1.03), snatchie (1.10), faveN (1.16), and dycha (1.18).
