OG enters this contest riding on cruise control. They made easy work of the group stage, beating KOVA Esports 16-8 before dominating forZe 2-0 in the winners' match to seal their place in the playoffs. OG's map pool is something to keep an eye on as they only have win rates over 50% on three maps (Dust2, Train and Nuke) over the last three months. If the match features two maps outside of this pool, then it could be a bumpy ride if they aren't careful.

On a more positive note, OG has the more elder roster in this contest with an average age of 24.1 between the five. Much of the driving force behind OG's victories have come behind the firepower of mantuu. He's playing some of his best CS:GO ever over the last three months with an average 0.74 kills per round while only dying 0.59 times a round. The group stage was a bumpy ride for c0ntact, but they made it. They survived a 13-16 hiccup against SMASH in their opening match as they regrouped with a 2-0 win over Hard Legion in the elimination match before blanking FATE 2-0 in the decider match. Their range of success on maps has been thin lately, and that could be a problem in a best-of-three-map match. They hold a 66.7% win rate on Inferno and 57.1% on Mirage, but none over 50% on any other map over the last three months.

The team leader of c0ntact is ottoND, and he may have to shine bright here. He's been pretty good recently, even in losing situations. Over the last three months, ottoND has averaged 0.7 kills and 0.64 deaths per round. Something to keep in mind is that EspiranTo is the only other player on c0ntact's roster with a positive kill to death ratio. For c0natct to pull a victory, they need a strong performance from some players who have been underperforming lately.

I don't quite know what to make of c0ntact. Their team has been underperforming lately, but their recent 2-0 wins over Hard Legion and FATE suggest they may be moving in the right direction in terms of finding their old form. However, c0ntact is running into a stone wall in OG, and I don't believe that their recent success will continue. OG didn't have to work very hard at all during the group stage, and I don't expect them to have a ton of trouble from c0ntact either. OG has the overall better map pool which is huge for a best-of-three-map contest and I expect them to take the first two maps on their way to a 2-0 victory in this match.
