HONORIS vs. Wizards Preview & Prediction - Free CS:GO Betting Picks 7/6

HONORIS and Wizards will face each other in the Swiss Round 1 of the Nine to Five #1 CS:GO tournament. The Nine to Five #1 CS:GO tournament features twenty-eight European CS:GO teams competing for a $50,000 prize pool. The prize pool distribution is top-heavy, with the first-place team receiving $35,000, while the second-placed team will get the remaining amount of $15,000.

HONORIS Preview

HONORIS’ CS:GO roster has some of the most experienced players in the Polish scene. The team includes players like Taz and NEO formerly on the Virtus Pro CS:GO roster. The players have lost a lot of firepower and often fall short against the younger players. However, the HONORIS squad makes up whatever it lacks in firepower with its players’ experience and tactics.

The team has been on a five-match losing streak. Their recent matches include losses to Apeks, PACT, HAVU, Complexity and ALTERNATE aTTaX. The lack of a decent map pool will come back to haunt HONORIS. The team has only played on maps like Vertigo, Mirage and Dust2. With a 50% win-rate on Vertigo, it is one of the best maps for the team. The team has an abysmally low win-rate on other maps like Mirage, Nuke and Dust2.

Wizards Preview

Wizards is ranked 172nd in the CS:GO rankings and features a mixed international squad. Its roster includes players from five different countries. Wizards recently took a map off Wisla Krakow, which is one of the team’s best accomplishments.

However, Wizards does not have a strong map pool and its recorded maps include Nuke and Dust2. The players lack firepower compared to some of the better-ranked rosters in the team. Wizards placed second in the group stage behind Wisla Krakow. However, the team won its matches against Team Excellency and 9INE.

Pick: HONORIS ML (-220 @ Bovada)

HONORIS has a better map pool and its players are much more experienced compared to Wizards. The team’s performance has not been at its best, but it is still significantly higher-ranked than Wizards Esports Club. Taz and NEO have spent most of their careers at the top of the CS:GO scene. While their individual performance has not been in their prime, the team can still be one of the strongest rosters in the Nine to Five #1 CS:GO Cup. I am taking HONORIS to win this match, although there is a decent chance of this series going the distance of over 2.5 maps.
